The Product detail page is the center of the Universe for information about pesticide products and includes information on the product identity, human toxicity, active ingredients, regulatory status and the registering company, as well as a list of web sites providing alternatives to toxic chemical pest control. You can print this page if you wish.

Product ID

The top section of the Product Information page contains identification information about the product, acute hazard warning label, restricted use status, and PAN Bad Actor product status. It also provides links to the acutal pesticide label and Materials Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). More information about each category is accessible by clicking on the underlined term.

List of Active Ingredients and Toxicity Summary

The next section provides a list of the active ingredients contained in the pesticide product and a summary of their toxicity characteristics. Acute toxicity, carcinogenicity, reproductive and developmental toxicity, endocrine disruption, acute aquatic toxicity and other aquatic toxicity are all summarized. A legend is provided to define the symbols used in the rankings. Information on how summary ratings were assigned can be found by clicking on the underlined headings.The toxicity definitions can also be accesssed here. Links to information on "inert" ingredients are also provided.

Pesticide Uses

This section shows the U.S. EPA-approved uses for the pesticide product, including use type, target pests, and approved crops or locations on which the pesticide can be used. If the product is no longer registered for active use, the information is displayed for historical reference, if available. Definitions of all of the underlined terms are accessible by clicking on the word. The definitions can also be accesssed here.

U.S. EPA Product Registration History

This section provides information on cancellations of a product or transfers of a registration between different companies. It also provides links to many U.S. state registration web sites to obtain state-specific registration information. Definitions of all of the underlined terms are accessible by clicking on the word. This section gives the name and address of the company that registers the pesticide (the registrant) and their agent.
