This page briefly describes the documentation available for this data set and provides links to more detailed information.

Limitations of the Data
Provides information on why our ability to draw firm conclusions on the toxicity of chemicals is limited because of data gaps and other problems. Defines weight-of-the-evidence evaluations.

Acute Toxicity
Provides information about pesticides and acute toxicity. Defines the different ranking systems used by various regulatory agencies.

Carcinogenicity
Provides information about pesticides and cancer. Defines the different ranking systems used by various regulatory agencies.

Reproductive and Developmental Toxicity
Provides information about pesticides and birth defects/impaired development, and the California Proposition 65 list.

Endocrine Disruption
Provides information about pesticides and endocrine disruption. Defines the different ranking systems used by various data sources.

Neurotoxicity
Provides information about pesticides and neurotoxicity, specifically with regard to cholinesterase-inhibiting pesticides.
