- Hypersensitive to stimulation, sensation of prickling, tingling or creeping on skin.
- Headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incoordination, tremor, mental confusion, hyperexcitable state.
- In severe cases: convulsions, seizures, coma and respiratory depression.

Route of Exposure

Symptoms

First Aid

Inhalation Convulsions. Cough. Dizziness. Headache. Nausea. Weakness. Tremors. Paresthesias. Symptoms may be delayed (see Notes). Fresh air rest. Artificial respiration if indicated. Refer for medical attention.
Skin MAY BE ABSORBED! Remove contaminated clothes. Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention. Wear protective gloves when administering first aid.
Eyes Redness. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible) then take to a doctor.
Ingestion Abdominal pain. Diarrhoea. (Further see Inhalation). Rinse mouth. Give a slurry of activated charcoal in water to drink. Do NOT induce vomiting. Give plenty of water to drink. Rest. Refer for medical attention.
Notes for ICSC Information
Depending on the degree of exposure periodic medical examination is indicated. Carrier solvents used in commercial formulations may change physical and toxicological properties. The relation between odour and the occupational exposure limit cannot be indicated. Do NOT take working clothes home.
