Route of Exposure

Symptoms

First Aid

Inhalation Blue lips or finger nails. Blue skin. Confusion. Convulsions. Cough. Dizziness. Headache. Nausea. Sore throat. Unconsciousness. Fresh air rest. Refer for medical attention. See Notes.
Skin MAY BE ABSORBED! Redness. Blue lips or fingernails. Blue skin (further see Inhalation). Rinse and then wash skin with water and soap. Refer for medical attention.
Eyes Redness. First rinse with plenty of water for several minutes (remove contact lenses if easily possible) then take to a doctor.
Ingestion (further see Inhalation). Induce vomiting (ONLY IN CONSCIOUS PERSONS!). Give plenty of water to drink. Refer for medical attention.
Notes for ICSC Information
Technical product may contain a carcinogenic impurity (4-aminobiphenyl). Depending on the degree of exposure periodic medical examination is indicated. Specific treatment is necessary in case of poisoning with this substance; the appropriate means with instructions must be available.
