Signs and Symptoms of Streptomycin Poisoning

Symptoms of Streptomycin Exposure

- Skin rash and exfoliative dermatitis.
- Vestibular damage, nystagmus or postural imbalance.
- Dysfunction of optic nerve, peripheral neuritis.
- Stupor, flaccidity, coma, and respiratory depression.
- Toxic effects on vision have been rare, but several instances have been reported.
- Anaphylactic shock and hematopoietic reactions.
